Intro

During the last years I've been working at SDG Group. Started as a data governance consulting, with projects on Collibra platform and evolved into a Data Engineering and Cloud role, managing teams and trying to achieve a proficient work.

I have been evolving and improving as a professional since day 1, focusing not only on my knowledge and ability to manage situations but also on my colleagues and clients, essential part of the consulting job and totally necessary to provide an appropriate solution to the challenges faced

Work

My main focused during these last years has been mostly onto Data Engineering projects. I've participated in projects where we developed end-to-end ETL pipelines, using various techonologies such as multiple AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, .... Also Snowflake as my main Datawarehouse experience. Talend and Python but also several data habitual practices such as GitHub, DevOps, applying best practices in general

I would say one of my strongest points is that I try to provide an appropriate solution and specially, an scalable and parameterized solution that can adapt not only to my current client needs but also to the future needs they will have. As much cliché as it sounds, I focus on implementing best practices that allow me and my team not to worry (as much) in the performance of our projects in the future.

About

I'm a friendly, easygoing guy who tends to get along well with people—whether it's at work or grabbing a drink after. Being Spanish, a good beer with friends never hurts!

I stay active, mostly hitting the gym these days, but I've also dabbled in tennis, paddle, football, and even Muay Thai. On weekends, you’ll find me hanging out with friends, hitting up some techno nights, or just trying to make the most of my free time (although laziness happens sometimes).

I’m into fantasy novels (when I remember to pick a book up), researching nutrition (a bit of a passion of mine), and, honestly, losing hours on YouTube. If you need basic investment tips, I can give you a hand (not a cryptobro).
